RipReader ("the App") is developed by Sarulian LLC. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Disc names and details you add to your bag
• Manual distance entries

Information collected automatically

• Camera data: Video recordings of disc flight for analysis. Videos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
• Microphone: Android requires microphone permission for video recording. RipReader does not record, store, or transmit audio.
• Location (GPS): Used solely to measure throw distance between your position and landing spot. Location data is stored locally on your device.
• Analytics (opt-in only): If you opt in, we collect anonymous usage data through Mixpanel, including: app opens, throws captured (metrics only — no video), feature usage, and purchase events. Analytics is opt-out by default and can be toggled at any time in Settings.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your videos or photos
• We do not record audio
• We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not track your location in the background — GPS is only used during active distance measurement
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes

3. Data Storage

All throw data, videos, disc information, and session history are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Analytics data (if opted in) is processed by Mixpanel. See Mixpanel's privacy policy for details.

4. In-App Purchases

Payments are processed entirely through Google Play. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Play Billing: Handles subscription and purchase processing
• Mixpanel (opt-in only): Anonymous usage analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reporting to help us fix bugs (collects device info and crash logs, no personal data)

6. Children's Privacy

RipReader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your Choices

• You can opt out of analytics at any time in the app's Settings
• You can delete all app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling
• You can revoke camera, microphone, or location permissions in your device settings at any time

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
